Ich fragte mich, was wäre wohl das Wahrzeichen von Rossbeigh Beach? Es sind die flach abgerundeten Steine, die diesem irischen Strand seinen Charakter geben. Es vergeht kein Besuch an dem man nicht diese aufgestapelten Türme aus diesen Steinen sieht oder ich auch einfach selber kurzerhand einen baue.

Mal sind sie breit aufgestellt, statisch solide und gedrungen, ein andermal ranken sie sich fragil in die Höhe. Es entstehen jedes Mal kleine Skulpturen, die das Bild dieser Landschaft prägen und aus der chaotischen Anordnung der Steine eine kurzfristige Ordnung schaffen. Die Stapel wirken romantisch, weil sie keine Standfestigkeit besitzen und oft nach der nächsten Flut wieder neu im Chaos intergriert sind. 

Aus diesen Grund habe ich neben der Ansicht auf Rossbeigh vom Strand aus einen dieser Steintürme als Erkennungszeichen gewählt. Als Technik dient das Graffiti, welche in einer einer kleinen Limitierung von 15 Stück gesprayt ist.

I asked myself, what would be the landmark of Rossbeigh Beach? It is the flat rounded stones that give this Irish beach its character. Not a visit goes by where you don't see these stacked towers made of these stones or I just build one myself without further ado.

Sometimes they are broadly positioned, statically solid and squat, other times they climb fragilely upwards. Each time, small sculptures are created that shape the image of this landscape and create a short-term order from the chaotic arrangement of the stones. The stacks seem romantic because they have no durability and are often reintegrated into the chaos after the next flood. 

For this reason, in addition to the view of Rossbeigh from the beach, I have chosen one of these stone towers as a distinguishing mark. The technique is graffiti, which is sprayed in a small limitation of 15 pieces.
